Qawrafrom £384.30
On the northern coast of Malta with spectacular views towards the Maltese islands of Comino and Gozo, is Qawra. Together with Buggibba, Qawra makes up one of the largest seaside resorts on Malta, on the east side of St Paul’s Bay towards Salina Bay. Qawra is a little more sedate than it’s bustling neighbour and is particularly popular with couples and families, but you will still find a magnificent choice of accommodation, restaurants and bars, nightclubs and cafes, as well as a rocky beach with plenty of water sports facilities to choose from.
Bugibbafrom £393.54
Together with Qawra, Bugibba on Malta’s northern coast represents the largest holiday resort area on the island. A rugged coastline and dramatic cliffs in the north, offer spectacular views out over the Mediterranean from Bugibba.
A hive of activity, Il Bajja is a pedestrianised square lined with bars and restaurants in Bugibba, near to the sea front promenade, which in turn is “the place to go” for fun filled nights of dancing and eating. Shops and cafes are available in abundance, and in Bugibba you will also find a cinema and casino.
